Meet Jenny Kosin

Jennifer "Jenny" Kosin is the founder of Kosin Law and is dedicated to helping Alaska families protect what matters most through thoughtful estate planning.

Born and raised in Eagle River, Alaska, Jenny has deep roots in the community she proudly serves. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media and Theatre Arts from Montana State University before pursuing her Juris Doctor at Michigan State University College of Law. It was during law school that she met her husband, Jared, and together they are raising their three children in her hometown.

Jenny's professional journey has not followed a traditional path, and she believes that diverse life experiences make her a better counselor for her clients. Along the way, she spent several years teaching yoga and operating a family portrait photography business, helping individuals and families celebrate important moments and milestones. These experiences strengthened her appreciation for the unique stories, values, and relationships that shape every family.

Ultimately, Jenny returned to the practice of law with a clear purpose: helping families prepare for the future with confidence and peace of mind. She is passionate about guiding clients through estate planning, ensuring that their wishes are honored, their loved ones are protected, and their assets are preserved in the event of death or disability.

Jenny understands that estate planning involves deeply personal decisions. She strives to create a welcoming, compassionate environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their goals and concerns. Her approach combines practical legal guidance with genuine care, helping families build plans that reflect their values.

When she is not serving clients, Jenny enjoys spending time with her pets, exploring Alaska's outdoors with her family, reading, and practicing yoga.
